Ministries & Departments

JOIN A DEPARTMENT – SERVE WITH JOY IN GOD'S HOUSE

“Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.”

Matthew 9:37-38

God has equipped every believer with unique gifts and abilities to serve the body of Christ. At RCCG Throne of Grace Gander, we believe in building a strong, unified church through service in various departments. Your participation helps advance God’s Kingdom and brings fulfillment to your walk with Christ.

“Let the Lord use you! There is much work to be done in His house, and He is calling you to rise and serve. If you feel led to contribute to any of the departments listed below, please reach out by emailing rccggander@gmail.com, filling out the volunteer form below, or calling +1 (709) 422-1561. There is a place for you in the vineyard of the Lord! For more information or to join, please feel free to speak with any department leader after service.”

Choir

The Choir is a vital ministry that ushers the congregation into the presence of God through worship and praise. They minister in songs inspired by the Holy Spirit, setting the atmosphere for the Word to be received. This department is not only about music but also about a life of consecration and spiritual sensitivity.

Ushering

The ushering department serves with excellence and a heart of hospitality. Ushers are often the first point of contact for visitors and members, representing the love and orderliness of the church. They guide the congregation with humility and diligence, ensuring that services run smoothly and reverently.

Hebrews 13:2 – Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

Psalm 84:10 – Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

Bible Study & Prayer

This department is dedicated to the spiritual growth and empowerment of the church through consistent teaching of God’s Word and fervent prayer. It is the engine room of spiritual vitality, where revival, discernment, and transformation are birthed.

Psalm 96:9 – Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.

Transportation

The Church Transportation Team is more than just a ride; it’s a ministry of care, connection, and compassion. Our mission is to ensure that every individual, regardless of age, ability, or circumstance, has the opportunity to attend worship services and church events. By providing safe and reliable transportation, we help remove barriers and open doors for spiritual growth and fellowship.

This ministry is rooted in the love of Christ and the call to serve others with joy and humility.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45 (NIV)

Each time a vehicle is started and a journey begins, it becomes a mission, a chance to reflect Christ’s love through service. From early Sunday mornings to midweek gatherings, our drivers and coordinators play a vital role in making sure that the church remains accessible to all.

Whether you’re interested in driving, helping with coordination, or simply supporting this ministry through prayer, there’s a place for you on the team.

Come serve with us and help bring people closer to God, one mile at a time.
